Karen Macfarlane

Karen Macfarlane is a Dundonian poet now living in Perthshire. In past lives, she has been a factory worker, gardener's labourer, helpline Listener and freelance writer for magazines. Her poems, in Scots and English, have appeared in many publications and anthologies, and her first short collection, All About the Surface, was published in 2024. An Occupational Therapist, Karen is interested in writing for well-being and is a committee member for Lapidus Scotland. Karen curates the online project, Poems on Public Art, combining her love of poetry and Art History.
